Discounts
There are numerous types of discounts which can be applied to individual products or the whole transaction.
Void Transaction
An operator can review the total transaction and modify it at any stage prior to that sale being finalized.

There are four levels of security within the system. Individual login codes provide access to functionality within the system
Multiple Layaways
At any point during the sale, transaction can be suspended and then recalled at a later stage. This is ideal where a customer has forgotten to pick an item and you have a queue waiting to be served. Layaways are also useful where a customer requires the items to be built up over a period and one transaction printed at the end, e.g. the hotel and restaurant trade.
Full Audits
All transaction are held in the system for analysis and for reporting.
Multiple payment methods
Payment methods include, cash, cheque, credit card, vouchers, coupons etc. Other feathers include:

This allows the tracking of sales by particular operators on the system. Further it allows you to calculate commission report.
Return and Refunds
Returns can be made at any point in the sales or after completing the sales.
Product record with advanced features
- Each product code can have seven user definable fields and these can be used to identify the product during product search.
- Each product can have 5 different selling prices, price level can be changed at Point of Sale screen.
- Barcodes can be printed from SACS Pos 2000, using Avery label ref L7163, L7160 and L7151.
Serial number tracking
Serial number tracking for high value items, product menu has option to enable serial number, you could enable the serial number for some products and leave it for others.
Promotion
- Period promotion: Products can be set to sell at s promotional price for a date range in advance.
- Matrix promotion: Buy 3 for price of 2 promotion. You can predefine the matrix in the system.

AFD Post code Software
Optional AFD post code application link provides easy customer name, address and purchase product promotion information capture at point of sale for marketing or product promotion activities.
Integrated Credit Card Processing
EFT (Electronic fund transfer) provides all off or on line code authorization and batch transfer with bank overnight pooling. Chip & Pin ready by 2005.

Invoice/ Receipt
Point of Sale receipt can be printed on 40 column receipt printer and or A4 / A5 / 11” size invoice incorporating customer name and address. Invoice reprint function incorporated.
Total Integration to Sage Line 50
SACS Pos 2000 integrated with Sage Line 50 Accountant, Accountant Plus and financial controller. The Sales ledger, Stock control, cash book and Nominal ledger of Sage Line 50 will be updated by SACS Pos 2000 financial data. System can be configured with or without link to Sage Line 50. In multi-user environment SACS Pos 2000 electronic point of sale software will be licensed per till basis.
